What is Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm?
Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm is purified shilajit resin from Rex Remedies Limited. “Shudh” means purified. Raw shilajit is cleaned and processed (shodhana) before use in Ayurvedic and Unani practice, because raw mineral pitch can carry dirt, sand and metal residues. Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm comes in a 10 g pack and is sold by Safawellness as an authorised retailer.
Traditional uses
In Ayurveda and Unani, shilajit is used as a general tonic (rasayana) for strength and daily energy. Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm is offered in that traditional context. Read the “uses” line on your pack label for the manufacturer’s stated indication. This page describes traditional use only. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease.
Ingredients
Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm is a single-ingredient product. Confirm the composition against your pack label.
| Ingredient | Other names | Botanical / source name | Traditional grouping |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shudh Shilajit (purified) | Shilajeet, Shilajatu | Asphaltum punjabianum (mineral pitch) | Rasayana |
Shilajit is not a plant. It is a natural mineral exudate that contains fulvic acid, humic substances and trace minerals.
How to take it
Take Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm exactly as printed on the pack label, usually a small pea-sized amount dissolved in warm milk or warm water.
| Quantity | With what | How often | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| As per the pack label | Warm milk or warm water | As per label | As per label |
For general reference only: other purified shilajit resin labels in India list about 250 mg (a pea-sized amount) once daily with warm milk, and some references give 300 to 500 mg a day. Follow the Rex pack label, not these figures. Do not increase the dose. If your practitioner has advised a different dose, follow that.
Who should not take it
Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm is not suitable for everyone. Do not take it without medical advice in these cases:
- Children under 18.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- People with high iron levels or iron-storage disorders, since shilajit contains iron.
- People with gout or high uric acid.
- People with diabetes, low blood pressure or thyroid conditions, or who take medicine for them.
- Anyone on regular prescription medicine, including blood thinners.
- Anyone before planned surgery. Tell your surgeon.
Side effects and safety
Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm can cause side effects in some people, such as acidity, stomach upset, loose stools, headache or skin rash. Take it in the stated dose only. Stop and see a doctor if you get a rash, swelling, dizziness, palpitations or any unexpected reaction. Shilajit is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment. See a doctor for persistent tiredness, weakness or any symptom that needs a diagnosis. Keep out of reach of children.
Manufacturer and quality checks
Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm is made by Rex Remedies Limited. The licence number, manufacturing address, batch number and expiry date are printed on the pack.
| Manufacturer | Rex Remedies Limited |
|---|---|
| Licence and batch details | Printed on every pack |
| Sold by | Safawellness, an authorised retailer |
Shilajit is often faked or sold unpurified. Five checks before you use any shilajit:
- Licence number and address printed on the pack.
- Batch number, manufacturing date and expiry date printed, not stickered.
- Intact seal under the lid.
- Purified (“shudh”) on the label. Raw shilajit can carry heavy metals and should not be eaten unprocessed.
- A GST invoice from a licensed seller. Be wary of unnamed marketplace sellers and of “lab tested” claims with no report.

Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm is purified shilajit resin made by Rex Remedies Limited and sold in a 10 g pack. Shilajit is a Himalayan mineral pitch used in Ayurveda and Unani as a rasayana, a general tonic. It is a traditional preparation, not a medicine for any specific disease.
How do I take Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm?
Take Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm exactly as printed on the pack label, usually a small pea-sized amount dissolved in warm milk or warm water. Do not exceed the label dose. If you are unsure about the amount, check the pack or ask our experts before starting.
Is Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm safe to take daily?
Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm is meant to be taken in the label dose only. Long-term use has not been tested in every person. Ask a doctor before daily use if you have diabetes, gout, thyroid or blood pressure problems, high iron levels, or take regular medicine.
Can I take Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm with other medicines?
Check with your doctor first. Shilajit can interact with some medicines, such as those for diabetes, blood pressure, thyroid or blood thinning. Tell your doctor that you take Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm, and stop it at least two weeks before planned surgery.
What is the difference between raw and shudh shilajit?
Shudh shilajit is raw shilajit that has been cleaned and processed. Raw shilajit can contain sand, plant matter and metal residues, so classical practice purifies it before use. Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm is sold as purified. Confirm this on the pack label and licence details.
How long does a 10 g pack of Rex Shudh Shilajit last?
The 10 g pack of Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm lasts about 40 days at 250 mg a day, 33 days at 300 mg, and 20 days at 500 mg. Your pack label sets the real dose, so divide 10 g by that daily amount.
How do I know my Rex Shudh Shilajit pack is genuine?
Check the Ayush licence number and manufacturer address on the pack, a printed batch number with manufacturing and expiry dates, and an intact seal. Buy from a licensed seller who gives a GST invoice. Avoid unnamed marketplace sellers and unusually cheap 10 g packs.
Is Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm vegetarian?
Shilajit is a mineral-plant exudate and is not an animal product, so Rex Shudh Shilajit 10gm is generally treated as vegetarian. Check the pack for the veg mark and any added ingredients or preservatives, since the label is the final word.
